This 1938 comedy tells the story of David Huxley (Carey Grant), a paleontologist living in New York who just received the final bone for the Brontosaurus he has been trying to put together for his museum. He is about to get married to his girlfriend, Alice Swallow (Virginia Walker), and must make a good impression upon a woman named Mrs. Random (May Robson), a rich woman who may give out a million dollars to his museum. As you can tell, this man is STRESSED.
The day before David's wedding, he meets a young woman named Susan Vance (Katherine Hepburn) who is eccentric and free-spirited. Susan immediately likes David and wants to do everything she can do to stop him from marrying his girlfriend including making him drive to Connecticut with her to drop off a leopard her brother sent her from Brazille named Baby. The two of them encounter many problems and that you never would think could happen in any given situation.xoxoxoxo
