The Parent Trap!!!

Hallie (Lindsay Lohan) and Annie (also Lindsay Lohan) are 2 very different girls that you would think have nothing in common. Hallie lives in California, Annie lives in England. Hallie is more laid back, Annie is more sophisticated. When both girls get sent to the same camp, trouble starts to brew. The 2 immediately clash and start pulling pranks on each other mercilessly. When one prank goes too far, they both get sent to the isolation cabin, forced to live in the same place. When they start spending more time together, they realize they had more in common than they thought. They were both born on the same day and they look exactly alike...that could only lead to...TWINS! Once they put the pieces together, they realize that they were seperated at birth, their mother, Elizabeth James (Natasha Richardson) took Annie back to England and their father, Nicholas Parker (Dennis Quaid) took Hallie back to California. When Hallie decides they should switch places so they can meet the parent they never met and try to get their parents back together, the girls get to work. They learn every detail about each other. When camp ends, they split. Annie goes with Nicholas and Hallie goes with Elizabeth. Once they step into the other girl's place, things start to get complicated. I don't want to give away any more secrets so I guess you'll just have to watch!

Just My Luck!!!

Just My Luck is about a woman named Ashley Albright (Lindsay Lohan) living in Manhattan who is known by her friends as the luckiest person around. Whether it's finding $20 bills on the street or winning the lottery, this girl has it all. When she shares a kiss with the unluckiest man in the world, Jake Hardin (Chris Pine) at a party, their lucks are switched. Ashley immediately tries everything to get her luck back, but she ends up realizing that the luck itself doesn't matter but how you use it does.

Aquamarine!!!

This funny movie about friendship and love is a must-see. It's the end of the summer and Claire (Emma Roberts) and Hailey (Jojo) are 2 best friends that are about to split apart by Hailey moving in a few days. When they meet a mermaid, Aquamarine (Sara Paxton), Claire and Hailey realize they might get a miracle after all. Aquamarine tells them that if they help her find love with the hot lifeguard, Raymond, she will grant them one wish. Claire and Hailey instantly like Aquamarine and the 3 of them become quick friends. These 3 girls learn a lesson throughout this movie about standing on your own and being there for each other.

Cheaper by the Dozen 1 and 2!!!

These 2 hilarious movies will make you laugh until you cry, no joke :) They star Steve Martin and Bonnie Hunt as 2 parents managing there 12 fun-loving and free spirited kids.
In the first movie, Tom Baker (Steve Martin) is offered a job to coach football at a big university, the entire family moves from the place they call home: Midland, Indiana to Chicago, Illinois. The 12 kids are completely against the idea and are miserable when they first get to Chicago. Meanwhile, Tom's wife, Kate Baker (Bonnie Hunt) is trying to publish a book about parenting. When Kate goes to New York to try to get her book published, Tom is left to manage his kids but does have a little help from the oldest Baker kid, Nora (Piper Perabo). Although this movie is quite hilarious, it also teaches you a little something about how to deal with family and change.

In Cheaper by the Dozen 2, the whole Baker family is back and changes have already been made before the movie even really kicks off. The 3rd oldest Baker, Lorraine (Hillary Duff) has just graduated from high school. Nora Baker has gotten married to Bud McNulty and she is pregnant. When Tom and Kate find an old photo album that Lorraine was looking through, they are reminded of the good times the family had an old vacation spot, Lake Winnetka. When the family decides to go back to the lake for vacation, they are reunited with their rival family, the Murtaughs. The father of the family, Jimmy Murtaugh (Eugene Levy) has had it out for Tom since they were kids. But of course, the Baker and Murtaugh kids get along wonderfully which creates conflict for Tom and Jimmy. When Jimmy challenges Tom to the Labor Day Cup, things start to spiral out of control.

Sleepover!!!

This movie is so so so so genius. It stars Alexa Vega as Julie Corky, a girl having a sleepover with her 3 best friends: Hannah Carlson (Mika Boorem), Yancy Williams (Kallie Flynn Childress) and Farrah James (Scout Taylor-Compton). At first, the sleepover is all fun and games, but once popular girl, Stacie Blake (Sara Paxton) challenges the 4 friends to a competitive scavenger hunt against her group of her friends, the fight is on. The prize will be a lunch spot near a beautiful fountain that everyone wants. The losers will have to sit near the school dumpsters. The crazy scavenger hunt check list includes sneaking into an exclusive nightclub and getting a picture with a date, stealing an insignia from a local security firm, stealing a pair of boxers from Steve Philips, the cutest guy in school and to dress an Old Navy mannequin with their own clothing.
I heart this movie!

The Clique!!!

This movie happens to be based off one of my favorite books ever. The Clique stars Elizabeth McLaughlin as Massie Block, Ellen Marlow as Claire Lyons, Samantha Boscarino as Alicia Rivera, Sophie Anna Everhard as Dylan Marvil and Bridgit Mendler as Kristen Gregory. When Claire's family moves to Westchester, New York, they move into the guest house on Massie's estate because their dads were old college friends. Their dads may have been friends, but Massie and Claire immediately clash. As soon as Massie tells the Pretty Committee (her friends), Alicia, Dylan and Kristen about Claire, the 4 of them are anything but welcoming to her. Massie uses every trick in the book to make Claire's life completely miserable.

When in Rome!!!

This hilarious comedy stars Kristen Bell as Beth, a New York native who is totally and completely unlucky when it comes to love. When she travels to Rome for her younger sister's wedding, she picks up a couple coins that have a strange and humorous effect on a few men. However, one of the men, played by Josh Duhamel, may actually be in love with Beth. But how would she know if he's actually in love with her if he threw one of the coins that she picked up?
This funny movie has become one of my favorites and I'm sure when you see it, it will easily be one of your favorites, too!

Legally Blonde 1 and 2!!

Yay, my first blog on Movie Lover's World!! And of course the first post will be on Legally Blonde 1 and 2. In Legally Blonde 1, Elle Woods (Reese Witherspoon), the pink and beautiful Delta Nu sorority girl, is heartbroken by her jerky boyfriend, Warner who dumps her when she thought he was proposing. And why does he dump her you ask? Because if he's going to be a senator by the time he's 30, he needs a Jackie not a Marilyn. I know, pathetic right? But anyway, Elle goes to Harvard Law School to try to win back Warner when really, she wins a passion for law.

In Legally Blonde 2, Elle Woods is back and as pink and bubbly as ever! When Elle finds out her Chihuahua, Bruiser's mom is in cosmetic animal testing, Elle decides to take a stand and give a voice to Bruiser. And what better place to give a voice to those who can't speak for themselves than Washington DC! As Elle tries to make animal testing illegal, she encounters some people who try to stand in her way. But Elle Woods is not a person to let anyone stand in her way.
